Biography
Anna is a singer, music tutor and drummer with over a decade of experience.
She began her musical journey aged 7 as a chorister and pianist. In 1999 she went on to study music for 4 years, gaining Distinctions in a BTEC National Diploma, Higher National Certificate and Higher National Diploma in Jazz and Popular music in Vocals and Drumming,
Anna is an experienced and successful singer, creating and managing the wedding group - " The Anna Livingstone Duo " and has performed in many wedding venues and churches around Merseyside, including Liverpool Town Hall.
She has also performed on local radio and worked with several Nashville songwriters performing and producing their demos. Her biggest achievement to date was performing with her idol - Broadway, West End Star and Olivier Award winner Ruthie Henshall in a charity event.
Anna is also a successful and extremely experienced music tutor, teaching vocal lessons, children's choirs and percussion in and around Merseyside primary and secondary schools.
Having previously worked for 2 Merseyside music services for 10 years, she started her own teaching business in 2016. During this time, she received several outstanding Ofsted reports for her teaching.
She teaches across the board from Ks2/3 choirs ,
1-1 lessons, orchestras, school bands, GCSE and A- level performance exams, as well as LCM, Rock School and Trinity and Guildhall Grades.
Her students have performed with Gary Barlow in the Echo Arena, performed the National Anthem at Aintree Racecourse on live television, in the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall and around the city in several music festivals.
As a drummer, Anna has toured all over the world from London BBC Studios to Amsterdam and Dubai in numerous function bands, as well as musical theatre shows. Her drumming career highlights include performing in The Liverpool Matthew Street Festival, a performance on New Years Eve in Dubai for 6000 people and supporting Westlife in the Liverpool Summer Pops.
Anna is available for hire as a singer and drummer for theatre, gigs and live/studio work.
Anna plays the piano to a high standard, has a clean driving license, is a member of the Musicians Union and has an advanced DBS check.
